The festive season is quickly approaching and it’s going to be a busy one here at Barnsley Foodbank Partnership. Here’s how you can get involved this Christmas…
Tesco Christmas Collection
The annual Christmas collection returns at Tesco Stairfoot, Penistone and Hoyland from 1st-3rd December. Customers will be able to donate items at the front of each store, which will get taken back to the food bank and used in emergency food parcels. We are looking for volunteers to join us for this collection too. Volunteers would be standing at the front of the store, handing out leaflets, encouraging donations and representing our food bank. Food Collections
If you are a school, business or organisation who would like to donate to us this Christmas, please aim to get them to us by Wednesday 21st December. We have some limited slots available if you would like us to collect your donation on a first come, first served basis too. Please contact [email protected] or call 01226 235280 to request a slot.

Biker Collection
Once again, groups of bikers will be gathering from near and far to collect selection boxes to donate to our food bank. For details on this amazing project, click here.
