Biker Collection Returns This Christmas

25th October 2022

An amazing collection project returns this Christmas, as bikers far and wide will be joining forces to bring donations to the food bank.

The project follows on from the Easter Collection that took place earlier on in the year, with groups including Brothers Grim, Rawmarsh Runners, Doncaster Dragons MCC, Hinckley Triumph Owners Club and many more coming together to donate Easter eggs and treats to the food bank. This time, they hope to collect Christmas Selection Boxes to bring to our food bank…in true festive style.

All bikers and trikers are invited to join the ride, of which fancy dress is very much welcomed. The route will include a jolly ride around areas in Barnsley and Wakefield, before finishing off by meeting Suzanne, Barnsley Foodbank Partnership manager, to hand over the donations and take photographs.

The route at present is as follows (subject to change depending on roadworks, etc) –

Leaving Redbeck – 11.00am

Wakefield Independent School – 11.08am

Enter top of Havercroft – 11.12am
