The Tesco Christmas Collection is back from 1st-3rd December and here’s how you can get involved…
Volunteer with us
We are looking for volunteers to donate some time at the collection. Individuals usually pick 2-3 hour slots and the role consists of handing out leaflets, encouraging donations and representing our food bank. Tesco Stairfoot, Hoyland and Penistone will be collecting for Barnsley Foodbank Partnership and there are volunteering slots available between 10am-7pm. Donate
Food collection points will be at each of the stores, for customers to drop their donations into when they have finished their shop. Details on what can be donated, as well as a list of the current ‘most needed’ items will be available in store. There will also be buckets at the front of store for if anyone wants to give a monetary donation.
Be a Virtual Volunteer
If you are unable to donate or volunteer, but would still like to help in some way, you can become a Virtual Volunteer. By just sharing our posts and spreading the word about our collection, you’re still supporting us in this difficult time.
