We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined in with our Blankety Bank collection.
The Blankety Bank Makers Group started their project during the Summer, encouraging anyone who enjoys crocheting and knitting to join the group and create blankets for our food bank. The blankets would then be sent our during the cold, Winter months for individuals receiving emergency food parcels. The blankets were handed over to Suzanne, our food bank manager, on Saturday and a fantastic 156 were collected- with more donations still to come!

A huge thank you to everyone for their kind donations. It is clear that a lot of time and hard work went into these blankets and we want to assure you all that they will be incredibly appreciated by those receiving support from our food bank this Winter.
If you would like to donate some blankets to our food bank, you can drop them off directly at our warehouse: Unit 14 Aldham Industrial Estate, Wombwell, Barnsley, S73 8HA. We are open Monday-Friday between 9:30am-3pm for donation drop-offs.
