– Where and when is the collection?
Our Tesco Summer Collection returns from 30th June ’til 2nd July at Tesco Stairfoot, Hoyland and Penistone.
– How can I donate?
Each store will have a donation box near the exit where you can donate your chosen items, as well as a money bucket for anyone who wishes to make a monetary collection. As you enter the store, there will be leaflets available and a notice board showing the most needed items at that time.
– How can I volunteer?
We have volunteering slots available across all 3 stores. Your volunteering role would consist of meeting & greeting customers, handing out leaflets, encouraging donations and representing our food bank. Volunteers often donate 2-3 hours of their time, but feel free to stay as long as you’d like! We encourage volunteers to wear comfortable footwear and clothing, as you will be standing during your volunteering slot. Hi-vis’ and lanyards are provided. - Slots are given on a first come, first served basis.
- Please contact us if you wish to cancel or change your volunteering slot.
