What a ride: Egg-cellent Easter Collection for the food bank

The streets of Shafton were filled with roaring engines on Saturday, with bikers across the country joining an amazing Easter Egg Drop for our food bank.

Over 800 Easter eggs, 18 chocolate bunnies and 10 bars of chocolate were collected and brought to our food bank manager, Suzanne, as well almost £200 in monetary donations for the food bank.

We want to say a huge thank you to Brothers Grim, Redbeck Motel, Hinckley Triumph Owners Club, Elite MRC, Doncaster Dragons MCC, Rawmarsh Runners, the White Horse Bike Night, the Redbeck Biker Meet and all the other bikers who made the event a great success. Another big thank you to Lawrence and Karen for organising this event, plus Ant who gave a lot of his time to organise everything alongside them.

Also, a big thanks to the residents of Barnsley who came out to support, wave and cheer the bikers on as they made their way into the borough.
