Barnsley’s Big Soup Social 2025
Barnsley's Big Soup Social is a campaign that aims to bring people together across our town to connect over a lunchtime soup this Winter.
This campaign will enable individuals, community groups and organisations across the borough to:
- Improve their understanding of the work of Barnsley Foodbank Partnership.
- Boost mental health and wellbeing this Winter by coming together with other folk over a soup.
- All whilst raising vital funds for a local charity experiencing a busy Winter period.
Step 1: Register to participate in Barnsley’s Big Soup Social this Winter by Friday 14th November here.

Step 2: Barnsley’s Big Soup Social fortnight takes place Monday 17th November – Friday 28th November. Take a seat, enjoy your soup and have a natter with likeminded folk. A suggested minimum donation is £50 per group, which is the equivalent of 150 meals going out to individuals across Barnsley who need it the most.
Step 3: Share your Soup Social stories, donations and pictures with us so we can celebrate our community coming together and supporting Barnsley Foodbank Partnership.
